Become an Employer Partner

  • Schedule a meeting with UWH to learn more about our programs and share your organization’s goals with us.
  • Fill out our Training Agent Application. This includes an Agreement form that your management will need to sign so we can submit your organization as an official training agent with UWH through the Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries (BOLI).
  • Schedule a follow-up meeting to further discuss the implementation and logistics of adding our programs to your organization.
  • Receive approval from our Joint Apprentice Training Committee through a vote.
  • Begin recruiting your employees into our apprenticeships!

To qualify, your organization must:

  • Provide mental health and/or substance use services in the state of Oregon
  • Have supervisors on staff who hold or are willing to obtain the appropriate credentials* to sign off on apprentice hours.
    • QMHA Apprenticeship: QMHA-R, QMHA-I, QMHA-II, QMHP, LPC, LCSW, LMFT

*If your staff is eligible for one of the above credentials, but hasn’t gone through the application process, we can provide guidance to get them certified and become a program supervisor.

This is not an exhaustive list of the process of signing on a new employer partnership. Each organization is different and we want to ensure you have everything you need to comfortably add our programs to your systems. We are happy to have continuous discussions and meetings until you’re ready for implementation.
